Bruno Liberatore was born in Penne (province of Pescara) in 1947.
He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, majoring in sculpture, and went on to teach sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Brera in Milan, and Florence.
He is currently Chair of the Sculpture Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
